Benefits Of BrisDoc Terms & Conditions of Employment
If you are employed on a BrisDoc contract of employment, you receive the following benefits (this does not include those with a Casual Workers Agreement):
- Shared Ownership -We are an employee-owned business, which means that you, as employees, collectively own the company and have a real influence over the direction and success of our services.
- Employee-Owner Trust Bonus – Employees are eligible for a tax-free bonus; surplus that would previously have been distributed in shareholder dividends. The bonus payment will be included in July’s pay and the amount is dependent on your average weekly hours up to 37.5 hours.
- ‘Share in success’ discretionary bonus scheme – All bonuses are subject to the successful performance of the business and your individual contribution, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. The amount will vary between zero and 10%
- ‘Being Prepared Payment’ discretionary bonus following completion of all statutory & mandatory training and a PDR by 31st October each year
- Occupational maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental pay over and above the statutory entitlements
- Occupational sick pay allowance over and above the statutory allowances
- Annual Leave – starts at 25 days plus bank holidays (pro rata)
- Holiday ‘buy back’ – this flexible holiday arrangement (called ‘Buy Back’) helps enable staff to ‘sell’ holiday back to BrisDoc. This only applies to holiday above the statutory minimum that has not been used, and must be agreed in advance with your Line Manager. All holiday “buy back” is paid during January payroll
- Up to 5 days (pro rata) paid special leave as part of BrisDoc’s Family Friendly Policy for unexpected / emergency situations.
