Purpose
Workforce management, including terms and conditions of employment, contracting and self-employment, is a responsibility of the BrisDoc Combined Corporate Board.
The overall purpose of the People Committee is to assist and provide assurance to the Board in its duty to oversee and supervise the board direction of the company’s workforce planning and resourcing, terms and condition of employment (and other forms of staff contractual arrangements), culture and engagement, wellbeing, equity, diversity and inclusion, and workforce-related risk and compliance.
The People Committee provides assurance to the Board that BrisDoc’s workforce is well-managed, appropriately resourced, engaged, and compliant with statutory and regulatory obligations and that BrisDoc’s approach to these matters supports the organisation’s strategic objectives and values. The Committee also ensures the voice and views of Co-Owners are incorporated appropriately into its work.
