Introduction
This SOP outlines the process of ordering, storing, organising and administering the seasonal flu vaccine to all Brisdoc staff in a safe and effective manner. The objectives include:
- Vaccines are ordered, stored and administered safely for Brisdoc staff in the provision of this service and in accordance with national guidance.
- Promote attendance and advocate Brisdoc staff to be vaccinated
- Staff delivering this service are fully trained in vaccine administration, anaphylaxis, and BLS.
- A process for communication and record keeping between vaccinated Brisdoc staff and their respective GP practice.
