Introduction
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides detail on the Trusted Assessment Pathway (TAP) from all Integrated Access Partnership (IAP) services into Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) community services in Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).
Purpose
The purpose of this SOP is to outline the TAP between the IAP and AWP services to ensure that service users do not have to tell their story to different clinicians or services multiple times; therefore, supporting that once an assessment has taken place, referrals are accepted which reduce duplication of work and delays to receiving ongoing treatment and interventions.
