The main aim of this SOP is to ensure the safe management of clinical waste regarding the management of urine at all Treatment Centres.
When to use the Urine Sample at Bases SOP
All urine samples collected at a base or brought into a base must be in a sealed white top urine bottle. This SOP explains the process to ensure that patient’s, Operations staff and Clinicians are clear about how to implement this process.
