Refer a Friend Scheme – for Overnight Clinicians
We wanted to let you know that our Refer a Friend scheme is open for referrals of overnight clinicians.
As part of our approach to sustainable workforce planning, we will look to reintroduce the scheme in full during periods of peak recruitment need.

Terms and Conditions
- Non-Contractual Nature: Our Refer a Friend scheme is non-contractual and subject to change.
- Exclusions: The scheme does not apply to any bank, ad-hoc staff, or self-employed roles within any of BrisDoc’s services.
- Eligibility: To be eligible, the referred colleague must not be currently employed or have been employed previously, either on a salaried or a bank/self-employed contract, in any of BrisDoc’s services.
- Recruitment Involvement: Co-owners directly involved in the recruitment of a colleague are not eligible for the scheme.
- Referral Source: Applicants must state they were informed about the vacancy by “Friends or family” in the ‘Where did you hear about this vacancy’ section of the application.
- Induction Period: This scheme applies only upon completion of an induction period, which must be no longer than 6 months. Induction shifts vary by service.
- Timing of Referrals: Referrals must be submitted before an application is received. Referrals received after an application has been submitted will not be accepted.
- Shine Points: Shine points will be awarded to the referring party within the first month after the completion of the referred colleague’s induction shift.
Additional Note
To be eligible for this scheme, the referred colleague must not be currently employed or have been employed previously either on a salaried or a bank/self-employed contract in any of BrisDoc’s services.
