Celebrating BrisDoc’s Year of Excellence and Recognition
Awards and Acclaim
BrisDoc has had a remarkable year of recognition, affirming our pursuit of excellence in healthcare. Notable among our triumphs is the Best Innovation award won by our Frailty-ACE Service at the UHUK Awards, spotlighting our novel approach to managing the urgent care needs of frail individuals and reducing hospital admissions.
Prestigious Shortlists
Our organisation’s dedication to social impact has seen us shortlisted for the UK Social Enterprise Innovation of the Year Award. Amidst fierce competition, this honour underlines our innovative strides, particularly in mental health care.
Individual Spotlight
Dr Mike Taylor’s dedication at our Homeless Health Service has earned him a finalist spot for the “Who Cares Wins” national awards. Although not winning, his outstanding commitment to providing dignified healthcare for over 600 homeless individuals has not gone unnoticed.
Rising Nursing Star
Ella Venn’s extraordinary efforts in nursing and social impact have led to her being a finalist for the Royal College of Nursing’s Student Nurse of the Year Award. Her role with the Future Frontline Team and in the Next Gen programme showcases her commitment to inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
As we reflect on these successes, we are reminded of the talent and dedication within BrisDoc that drive us forward. Each accolade is a stepping stone to greater achievements and a testament to our unwavering commitment to patient care, innovation, and community engagement.
